The Lord's Awesomeness

There is only One God. He has been with us from the beginning, though at first,
may not have known it. He has been right by our side since day one. From before
we were even conceived, He knew us. He formed us all in the womb. He carefully
knit us together with His hands. He's the one who has brought us forth. He's the
One who has been with us in all our difficulties, giving us strength and grace.
For it's only in Him where these are found. Growing up, we have all done as we
willed. Living and playing and breathing, walking the earth that He has created
for us to enjoy. He had watched as we have woken up, and He sees as we lie down
to sleep. He knows the exact hour we cursed Him, and every time we have refused
Him. He has seen everything, and knows everything  about us. With all this, His
love towards man remains unfaltering, unwavering, and unadulterated. In every
time we sinned and turned our backs on Him, there He was -- waiting for us to
repent, and to come to Him. He will not force us to come, but He desires that we
do. He has shown Himself -- in ages past, He gave His Word to the prophets that
He would come -- and die for the sins of the world. When He came, He knew about
every one of us -- He is omniscient. Jesus knew that we would sin -- Jesus knew
we would mess up -- Jesus knew we would refuse Him, and reject Him -- yet He
still came, destined to suffer the wrath of both man and God for us all. The
very punishment all of us should have gotten -- the very thing we deserved --
was laid on Him at the cross. He was wounded for our transgressions, He was
bruised for our iniquities -- the chastisement of our peace was on Him -- and by
His stripes, we are healed. He has finished the work. He has accomplished what
no one else was capable of doing. He, the living God, became a sin sacrifice for
us all. He is the Man who came to save the world. We declared war on Him in the
beginning -- He responded in love by coming to die for the very ones who turned
against Him. Jesus' love is a love that bleeds for us. There is no other god
besides Him. He beckons us, every one of us to turn to Him -- and be saved.
Jesus said that if any man will come to Him, He will not cast him out. The Lord
did not come to destroy -- but to save. He did not come to judge -- but to
redeem. The Lord will abundantly pardon any person that comes to Him. But one
might say 'I don't believe in God' -- it makes no difference. He is alive, and
has revealed Himself through His creation. He has given us His Word --
testifying that Jesus is indeed the Christ -- the Saviour of the world. He has
made the way for us, He has provided the atonement for our sin -- and now,
stands at the door of the heart of every man. Knocking. Waiting for them to
answer the door. He will not break the door down -- but wants us to open it.
Only in Him are escapes from death -- only He can save one from the path that
leads to hell -- only in HIS name is salvation found -- and it cannot be found
in any other. If a man dies in his sin, if a man dies without Christ -- there is
no more hope for that person. Their fate is sealed. Tomorrow is promised to no
one. There is not enough time to wait and say 'maybe later I'll get right with
God' -- no...Today is the day of salvation. Eternal life does not start after
you die -- eternal life begins the moment we let Jesus be LORD of our lives.
Don't put it off...The very moment death occurs is when you no longer have any
say in your eternal destiny. The Lord does not desire to see any man perish --
He desires that all would be saved, and come to repentance -- but for
those who die rejecting Him, the only thing they can expect is judgment. Not
because the Lord desired them to go to hell -- but because they have rejected
the only means of salvation. If you reject Him -- how else can you be
saved?...behold, now is the time...NOW is the time to get right with the Lord.
Repent, and turn to the living God who made us -- who loves us -- who desires to
see you with Him and His family in the home He has waiting for you. Every breath
you breathe is another opportunity to be made right...Don't put it off...If you
confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive your sins -- and He will
cleanse you from all unrighteousness....
